Emma

Emma has been with Coats since 1995 and is our Business Change Manager. She moved to Berkshire in 2004, but her knowledge of the Pensions Admin System and her logical way of thinking made us reluctant to lose her, so she now works from home and Coats’ Stockley Park office, with regular visits to Glasgow. Emma manages the Systems, Change Management and Communications team who support the requirements of the Glasgow Office. In her free time, she makes crochet blankets and amigurumi, plays flute in a wind band and participates in a very early morning bootcamp.

Marshall

Marshall is the Pensions Accountant.  He is responsible for overseeing the workload and task allocation within the team and is very much involved in the various daily and monthly tasks for which the team is responsible. He has been with Coats since 2000 and is ACCA qualified. He enjoys a weekly game of squash and spends the rest of his spare time trying to keep up with his young son.

Celeste

Celeste is our Communications Analyst and has been with Coats since 1996. She works part-time and her main responsibilities include the design, wording and production of our internal and external communications. Celeste is also responsible for keeping our website up to date, but she would like to point out that any mistakes are not down to her! In her previous life, she enjoyed live music, reading and various forms of fitness and dancing. Now that she has a young daughter, however, her main hobbies are running late for everything and falling asleep while watching TV.

Gavin

Gavin has had a number of titles within Systems – some of them we can’t repeat. He is our Systems Specialist, which means he keeps the rest of us on track with all things technical. His main areas of expertise are developing new technology, programming and making biscuits. Gavin first joined Coats in 1998 to work for the summer and never left. He enjoys hillwalking in summer and snowboarding in winter and gets annoyed by the Scottish weather when it interferes with either activity.

Louise

Despite being the “newest” member of the GMS team, Louise has a long history with the Pensions Office. She originally joined us when she was just 16 (just a few years back) and left in her mid-20s to look after her young family. However, a bit like the Hotel California, you can never really “leave” – Louise has helped out with a number of special projects over the years before re-joining us on a permanent basis in 2019. Her long experience and helpful nature make her a great asset when assisting members with their queries. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, socialising and the odd wee Zumba class.
